13' Tasmanian Cray Dinghy. Pedigree is unknown   -   she obviously had a long and hard working life.
The owner was really taken with the shape and thought she would be ideal for his needs. He wanted a safe and stable boat to cruise the beautiful waters of the D'entrecasteaux channel, under sail with occasional outboard power, safely with three or four people.
To get the boat back into service has require a great deal of work. New backbone, and all bottom planking , new ribs. Then she was fitted out and set up as a gaffer.
Keep track of the progress.

We at last have a name for our cray dinghy , it was revealed at the launch on the 22-8-04  "Henry II" whom was fully dressed  in new sails and rig looking delightful. It has been a long and interesting journey . The owner's are very happy people and have been out sailing many times.

This project is now completed.

Follow the photos from replacing ruined planks to the  launch.  The owner has been enjoying many ' best ever ' days.
